Edit a PDF — add text, draw and highlight

100% private — your PDF never leaves your device, and nothing is uploaded to any server.

What "editing a PDF" actually means

PDFs were designed to look identical everywhere, which is exactly what makes them awkward to change. Most of the time, editing a PDF does not mean rewriting its paragraphs — it means adding something: a missing date, a correction, an initial, a highlighted clause. SignFit handles that kind of edit, then flattens your additions into the page so they travel with the file.

Everything runs locally. The document is opened, changed and saved inside your browser, so it is never transmitted and there is no server-side copy to worry about afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the existing text in the document?

No. SignFit layers new content over the page rather than reflowing the original text, which is what preserves the document's fonts and layout.

Will the edits stay put when someone else opens the file?

Yes. Your additions are flattened into the downloaded PDF, so they render the same way in any viewer.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in the browser tab. There is also a browser extension if you would rather reach it from your toolbar.
